Backstory:

Born in Silverstar, the capital city of Flamespeak, Avicia was born into a noble family. From a young child her dreams were to become a Knight, but not just any knight. She wanted to become a member of "The Star Knights", the only female knight order. Coming from a rich family, this was easy to do and she became a squire at the age of 14, helping her aunt.

Avicia worked her way up the ranks, becoming a Knight at the age of 21 and shorty after at the age of 22 was raised to the rank of Knight Commander. She was very successful and liked by everyone, because of her fierce ways and skill in battle.

One year later she falls in love with a Knight under her command, Carina. They see each other in secret, as same sex relationships are frowned apon to most.

Everything seems to be going well, until Avicia notices Carina's journal left out. Curious as to what her lover has to say, she has a peak, but is horrified of what she finds. She finds out that Carina is a spy, sent over from the enemy kingdom Black Mesa. According to the book, carina is in a secret meeting with another spy. Avicia has to find where they are using clues.

Once Avicia has found the hideout, she immeditly executes the other spy. Avicia confronts Carina, and Carina pleads for her life, saying that she has changed and is no longer on Black Mesa's side.

The player then has the option of executing Carina on the spot or telling her to get away. either way, it leads to the same resolution of Avicia jumping off a tall building to her death. That is when she becomes a magical girl.
