To get opinions on my characters, I created another survey on google forums.
The point of this was to get some feedback and opinions on what people like, dislike, and overall think about my characters. This way I could improve my characters based on what my target audience thinks. Most people on my Facebook friendslist are my target audience, so I posted the survey to there and got 5 Responses. I will be explaining why I chose each question as well as sharing the responses and giving my feedback on their responses.
The Survey is here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc_Miv5LsGqe2ohpng1QS40RQssCKE0K-5lDDeMZqQzVP1PAA/viewform?usp=sf_link
For the first set of questions, I showed an image of a character I'd made and asked "What class do you think this character belongs to?"
I asked this to make sure that my characters represent their class, and for example, to make sure the warrior looks like a warrior and not a sorcerer.
Thankfully, everyone answered correctly on these questions, which confirms to me that my characters look like what they're suppose to look like.
I then asked what weapon would match what character. This again was to make sure that the weapons represent the characters which represent their class.
And again, everyone matched the weapons to the correct characters, which further confirms to me that the characters and weapons look like what they are suppost to look like.
The next section was specifically about Lilith, the rogue.
I first asked what people liked and disliked about the character and the weapon. I made sure to include separate questions for likes and dislikes as in a previous survey, it was unclear what people liked and disliked as it was in the same question.

Peoples likes were her hair, the curve (which i;m assuming is the curve in the dagger), that they match, that there are lots of pockets for items and that she looks protected and ready to assassinate.
I am happy that people liked these things about Lilith, especially that fact that she has pockets to put things in, she is a rogue after all.
People disliked that the handle might be hard to hold, the shade of blue on the boots is a different shade to the rest of the colour scheme, the feet look a bit weird and someone didn't like the art style, saying it would look better if it was more detailed and realistic.
I generally agree with what everyone has to say. I could make the handle on the dagger slightly longer to proportion it out a bit, that way it would be easier to hold. I can easily change the colour on the boots to match the rest of the colour scheme. Regarding the art style, I agree that It would look better it it was more detailed and realistic and I wish that I had enough time to do that, but unfortunately I don't. I could maybe add small amounts of shadows and lighting if I have enough time.
The next question, "Do you think the weapon matches the character", I included to confirm whether or not people thought the weapon matched. I think that having everything match and look right on a character will help people remember the characters more which is why I thought it was important to ask this.

Everyone answered yes, which confirms that Lilith's dagger matches her character design.
Next question was " What do you think of Lilith's colour scheme". I asked this so I could get people's opinions on the colours I used and if they thought they worked well or not.

People's answers were generally positive with one comment suggesting that the hair could be darker. This makers me belive that the colour scheme i chose for Lilith as a good choice.
The next question I chose because I wanted to see if people could figure out Lilith's personality by how she looked. I wanted them to judge her basically. I was hoping that people chose Confused, Suspicious, sad, shy, cold.

I'm happy with these answers. I think from this I can gather that people have mostly picked up generally what she's like as a person from her looks.
The last question I asked was so if anyone thought I could improve something they would have somewhere to say it. I will take deep consideration into these answers and will happily change things If I agree with what people are saying.

Having a bow as well as daggers would be cool, I agree, but my character also uses throwing knives which would make the bow a bit useless.
I will happily make sure all the colours match and make her feet a little less silly looking.
I can't change her art style as I don't have enough time but I can add some more detailing as well as some shadows.
The next set of questions are the same as the ones above, but they just aplly to the other characters. For this reason I wont be explaining why i chose the questions as I've already explained why above.
This section will be about Kyra, the mage.
(No idea why the bove image of kyra has messed up so badly.)

I'm glad people like the moon design and weapon design about this character. My favorite part of this character is her staff so it's nice to know that others alo like it.
Something big that people picked up on was that Kyra's colour scheme for her outfit merged into her skin colour. I think this can be fixed by giving Kyra a purple outline instead of a white outline. The art style was brought up again with this, and it's a shame I can't really change it that much but I can add some highlights and shadows to see iuf that makes a difference.

Everyone agreed that the Kyra's weapon matched her look so that is reassuring to know.

People like Kyra's overall colour scheme, saying it's bright, colourful, nice, light and magic, but the shin merging issue was brought up again. This is something I am defiantly going to improve.

For this question I was hoping that people went for happy, chill, kind & friendly. People mostly got it right, which is reassuring to me in that I got Kyra's personality through her visual appearance.

Again, the skin colour merging thing I am going to look into.
Next up is Avicia the warrior.
