Mage Character Analysis: Yennifer

To start off the mage class of this character analysis series, I am going to be starting with Yennifer from The Witcher.

Yennifer is a character from The Witcher series, and is one of the main characters from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. She is a sorceress, who was a member of the Brotherhood of Sourcerers, an organisation of mages.

Appearance

Yennefer dressed in many combinations of black and white. Her general style are white shirts with lace trim, long black coats, black trousers or stockings and high-heels. All those elements suggests elegant attire that flattens her figure whist accentuating her independent, strong willed character. She has black curly hair and violet eyes, and it is noted that

An important detail of Yennefers attire is her diamond encrusted obsidion star pendant that moves and pulses with magical energy. It was the sourcerers personal amulet and gave her a significant boost to her magical abilities.

Personality/skills

Yennefer can seem a bit harsh and unforgiving at times, but she does care. The third game paints Yennefer as self-centered and uncaring. This is mostly a facade she wears, and while she is undoubtedly arrogant, she is a lot more selfless and helpful than she lets on.
